Wadhwani Foundation and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Unite to Empower Indonesia’s Digital Talent and Entrepreneurs through AI-Powered Training Programs
The partnership aims at skilling 1 million Indonesian professionals and 100,000 entrepreneurs

In a historic move to advance Indonesia’s Golden Vision 2045, Wadhwani Foundation and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement was signed at the prestigious Indonesia-India CEO Forum, co-hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Kadin Indonesia, during Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto’s state visit to India for the 76th Republic Day celebrations.
This transformative three-year partnership, valued at IDR 3.5 trillion (INR ~18,550 crore), is set to equip one million Indonesian digital talents with cutting-edge digital and entrepreneurial skills while fostering 100,000 future-ready entrepreneurs. This initiative aligns seamlessly with Indonesia’s mission to become a developed nation by its centennial in 2045.
Central to this collaboration are Wadhwani Foundation’s AI-powered skilling platforms, which will roll out two flagship programs:
- ‘Job Ready’ Program: Focused on enhancing employability by providing soft skills training tailored to meet the demands of the modern digital talent.
- ‘Ignite’ Program: Designed to cultivate entrepreneurial mindsets, empowering participants to become the next generation of business leaders driving Indonesia’s innovation economy.
