Salesforce Unveils New Generation of Autonomous AI Innovations Across Ecosystem
Industries AI Provides Over 100 Customisable, Ready-to-Use AI Capabilities Embedded Across Each of Salesforce's 15 Industry Clouds
Salesforce, the world’s no. 1 Artificial Intelligence Content Relationship Management (AI CRM), has announced new autonomous AI innovations across the Salesforce ecosystem, including Slack and Tableau. The new innovations integrate Agentforce, a comprehensive suite of autonomous AI agents that augment employees and handle tasks in service, sales, marketing, and commerce, into the flow of work, to enhance employee efficiency and agility.
Industries AI Tackles Industry-Specific Needs
Industries AIÂ is a set of foundational, pre-built, and customisable AI capabilities that addresses industry-specific needs and challenges to help customers start delivering value quickly.
While executive urgency to put AI to use has increased by 700% over the past six months, most organisations do not have the time or money to build and train their own AI modelsâespecially with training a model alone sometimes costing upward of USD $100 million.
Every industry varies significantly regarding the types of tasks, challenges, and goals they need AI to help address. To deliver value from AI, organisations need AI capabilities that are specifically built to address their unique needs and challenges.
Industries AI is now embedded in each of Salesforce’s 15 industry clouds so customers can deploy ready-to-use AI to help automate time-consuming tasks in their industry. Customers can leverage pre-built prompts and power every AI capability with industry-specific data models and their own data and metadataâsuch as health records, donor databases, or telematics systemsâto ensure relevant and contextual results and insights.
Salesforce also created the AI Use Case Library, featuring more than 100 Industries AI capabilities and dedicated use case libraries with resources on how to get started for every industry cloud. The AI Use Case Library will be regularly updated with new capabilities.
Industries AI will also serve as the foundation for creating industry-specific Agentforce agents. Coming soon to every industry cloud, they can be set up in minutes, work around the clock, and autonomously perform industry-specific business tasks and actions.
Salesforce Reimagines Analytics with Agentforce and New Tableau Einstein
Tableau Einstein, the new Tableau built on the Salesforce Platform, is a reimagined, AI-powered, visual analytics platform that includes Agentforce. It is designed to intelligently accelerate the path from raw data to insights directly into the flow of work by infusing autonomous and assistive agents into every aspect of analytics so that everyone can answer, engage and act on insights directly from where they work in real-time.
Tableau Einstein is designed to promote self-service and agility using the benefits of the shared Salesforce metadata framework. It includes:
- Autonomous and assistive agents for modern analytics, enabling Tableau’s leading solutionsâTableau Agent (formerly Einstein Copilot for Tableau) and Pulse. Pulse uses AI to autonomously identify critical metrics and contextually surface them to people within the applications where they work. Tableau Agent and Pulse enable users to ask questions of data in natural language with assistive capabilities, providing visual and descriptive answers that are translated into action within an application.
- Tableau Semantics that enriches AI, agents, and analytics data with business context and meaning, improving discovery and comprehension of relevant data. For instance, insights generated about a customer account for a service rep would be grounded in records from recent service calls, product purchases, and returns, improving Agentforce’s ability to generate nuanced, informed responses.
- Real-time data that is secure and ready to scale across every touchpoint and create connected and consistent experiences. Because of deep integration with Data Cloud metadata-driven automation and optimisationsâincluding data preparation and data quality processesâit can be integrated into workflows on any channel and across any department.
- Composable architecture and reusable assets across an open API-driven platform that allows teams to build analytical agents to use for any enterprise use case and extensible into other third-party applications. New marketplace capabilities will also make it so data models and analytic assets can be shared, discovered, and used internally in an organisation or made available via an extended Tableau Public.
Slack Brings Agents, Purpose-Built AI, and CRM data into One Work Operating System
New Slack innovations enable organisations to bring their company knowledge, data, agents, apps, and automation into one agent-powered work operating system. In one conversational interface, teams can work alongside agents with purpose-built AI, unifying data across Slack and Salesforce, including:
- Agentforce in Slack. With a new user interface (UI) for agents, teams can now talk to their data, surface insights, and take action on tasks in Slack with Salesforce’s Agentforce Agents.
- Third-party AI agents. AI agents and assistants from partners like Adobe, Anthropic, Cohere, Perplexity, and more can be deployed in the same trusted, secure environment in Slack.
- Salesforce channels. A new type of channel that connects Salesforce CRM records to channel-based conversations in Slack gives teams a comprehensive space to collaborate on every account and opportunity, increasing alignment to move work forward. Coming soon, Salesforce channels will be embedded in the Salesforce user interface.
New enhancements in Slack also include purpose-built AI functionality across search and automation as well as new solutions-based templates to unlock productivity for every use case and line of business.  They are:
- New Slack AI features. Enhanced capabilities like huddle notes, simplified automation, and improved search allow teams to work smarter, faster, and with greater focus.
- Slack templates. Collections of ready-to-use templated channels, canvases, lists, and automated workflows make work in any department and for any task faster and more productive.
