PLDT Enterprise Becomes Philippines’ First and Only Telco Authorised as Starlink Reseller
Redefining Nationwide Connectivity by Bringing High-Speed Internet to Even the Most Remote Areas

In a milestone move, PLDT Enterprise, the corporate arm of PLDT, has become the first and only telecom unit in the Philippines authorised to resell Starlink, bringing high-speed internet to even the most remote areas and helping bridge the digital divide.
By leveraging Starlink’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite technology, PLDT Enterprise aims to support businesses in underserved and hard-to-reach locations. The solution boosts productivity, supports operations, and fuels growth for companies that have long struggled with limited connectivity.
PLDT Enterprise’s integration of Starlink is part of its parent company PLDT’s much broader commitment to expanding digital access in the country. Starlink’s high-speed, low-latency service complements PLDT Enterprise’s existing offerings, including fiber, wireless, and managed services, ensuring better coverage and performance across industries.
“Through the integration of Starlink, we are extending the reach and resilience of our connectivity solutions, especially in areas where traditional infrastructure is limited,” said Mitch Locsin, First Vice President and Head of Enterprise Core Business at PLDT and Smart. “This advancement reinforces our dedication to empowering enterprises to operate with greater agility, drive innovation, and accelerate their digital transformation, wherever they are in the country.”
The PLDT Commitment to Empowering the Nation with Future-Ready Solutions
Starlink’s satellite internet is especially useful for industries in remote or underserved areas, or those requiring backup connectivity. These include logistics, banking, agriculture, disaster response, and essential sectors like education and healthcare. Even mobile industries like transport hubs, that require internet access while in transit or in destinations with limited connectivity, will benefit from Starlink’s network coverage.
“Starlink adds another layer of reliability to our connectivity solutions. Since it can route traffic to other gateways found in other locations, it can keep businesses connected even during local terrestrial outages. This makes it especially valuable for customers whose uninterrupted internet connection is mission critical,” said Nico Alcoseba, First Vice President and Head of Product Management and Global Capacity Strategy at PLDT Enterprise
By adding Starlink’s LEO satellite technology to its lineup, PLDT Enterprise now offers a more robust suite of end-to-end connectivity solutions fit for a range of environments and operational demands. This includes transformative solutions such as Managed SD-WAN, Internet of Things (IoT), data centres, cybersecurity, and more.
This effort also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), supporting digital infrastructure, economic growth, and inclusive development. By providing businesses and communities with widespread internet access, PLDT Enterprise and Starlink are not just solving connectivity issues, they are enabling long-term sustainability and innovation.
With Starlink’s LEO satellites joining PLDT’s existing technologies like Fibre and 5G, businesses of all sizes can now enjoy reliable, high-speed internet, even in areas previously considered unreachable. This allows for better efficiency, improved customer experiences, and access to global opportunities.
More than just a tech upgrade, this initiative reinforces the PLDT Group’s broader commitment to nation-building and digital empowerment across communities and industries.
