Celebrating Enterprise Tech Excellence: Cast Your Vote for DSA Awards 2023

Nine years ago, Data & Storage ASEAN (DSA) had the idea of honouring the region’s best enterprise tech vendors across the data lifecycle. Since its inception, that idea has blossomed into the annual DSA Awards, which has steadily expanded and remains as vibrant as ever.

It is also more relevant now, especially with the exponential growth of data in recent years and its projected importance in the years ahead, which makes it only fitting that we recognise the companies leading the charge in this all-important front.

And that is exactly what we are doing this year with the DSA Awards 2023.

For the ninth DSA Awards, we have brought back two perennial awards, which we believe are the core of this annual showcase: The Best Enterprise Storage Vendor and the Best Data Analytics at Scale. Both of these have been staples of the DSA Awards since its inception in 2015, and each covers an important aspect of the data revolution—storage and analytics.

But, much like technology, we are constantly innovating too, which means that this year, we are introducing four new categories. These are the Best Ransomware Recovery Vendor, Best Cloud Service Provider, Best Identity Protection, and Best Textual Generative AI awards.

If you’ve been following the trends of 2023, you’ll quickly see why we’ve introduced these four new categories. They represent the innovations that have significantly shaped this year, as companies increasingly harness these advancements.

Cloud computing, for instance, has continued its upward momentum, while ransomware recovery has become more critical than ever before with ransomware growing more frequent and more sophisticated. Identity protection is gaining mainstream use as well, while generative AI has taken over the world so to speak—and will probably keep playing a primordial role in tech in the years to come.

Aside from that, we will also shine the spotlight on an individual who deserves to be honoured for their work in IT. And, for this year, we will be giving props to the IT Influencer of the Year, who will be feted at the end of the year for their tireless efforts at promoting technology to the world.
