Aliments Rebrands to HUBBO POS: Expanding from Food Services to Merchant Cloud Operations

Aliments has announced its rebranding to HUBBO POS and plans to further enhance its POS operation. In line with this strategic development, the platform is shifting its focus to helping local restaurants adopt data-driven digital workflows and scale sales channels.

The brand’s departure from its previous name, Aliments  (‘food’ or ‘nourishment’ in French), is timely as it also marks a strengthened partnership with Grab as the company’s preferred cloud point of sale (POS) partner, beyond facilitating food orders and payments. HUBBO POS, coupled with Grab’s strong regional networks and infrastructure, aims to deliver more seamless POS integrations for merchants on the app.

HUBBO POS has currently been operational in Malaysia for five years, and have onboarded merchants such as Village Park, KGB Burger and Pasta Panas. Following their recent entry into the Indonesian market, the brand has also expanded and improved their POS integration and infrastructure. Aiming to resolve the operational complexities for merchants, the new system which includes Grab’s latest scan-to-order feature, will now allow for more consolidated and streamlined orders and improved customer experience.

Lee Teng, Co-Founder of HUBBO POS shares: “This new name embodies our drive to empower food merchants in mastering the secret ingredient for sustainable growth: delivering great customer experience. ‘HUBBO’ reflects our ambition to connect merchants with a hub of diverse digital solutions for their business operations, while ‘POS’ signifies our renewed focus on elevating the point-of-sale potential across the Grab ecosystem.”

“We are thrilled with the seamless integration of HUBBO POS into our operations. It has proven to be a game-changer, providing us with remarkable time and cost savings. With real-time inventory updates, managing our stock has become effortless, and creating staff rosters is now a breeze. Additionally, the ability to generate finance reports has simplified our financial tracking processes significantly,” expressed Dylan Lee, Founder of Salad Atelier.

As an all-in-one POS hardware and software system, HUBBO POS utilises cloud technology to seamlessly manage multiple order channels for restaurants — such as dine-in, online, takeaway, and drive-thru — through a single interface. Within that same platform, merchants in the Grab ecosystem will also have access to HUBBO POS’ advanced operating functions like inventory overview, sales tracking, and table management.

Apart from that, HUBBO POS will also be bringing built-in customer data analysis to restaurants, providing owners with insights to help them make sharper, data-driven business decisions. This will complement the platform’s growing list of additional integrations, which feature cashback membership programmes and best-in-class solutions streamlining core business pillars like sales and accounting.

“With this comprehensive suite of solutions, all available round-the-clock via cloud, HUBBO POS projects that F&B merchants will see a 60% increase in productivity and 30% jump in customer retention. The simplified operations will further reduce labour costs and save time with one-click access to inventory updates, staff rostering, and even finance reports,” adds Lee.
