Kinergy Advancement Berhad, Johor Corporation Team Up to Boost SES Advancement with Data Centres as Among Key Interests

Johor Corporation, the principal development institution driving the economic growth of Johor state, has announced a strategic collaboration with Kinergy Advancement Berhad, the APAC 2024 Top Energy Sustainability Solutions Provide and One-Stop Sustainable Energy and Engineering Solutions Specialist.  Kinergy Advancement Berhad.

This collaboration formalises Kinergy Advancement Berhad as Johor Corporation’s partner in advancing Malaysia’s sustainable energy landscape, encompassing opportunities to develop customised Energy Efficient (EE) projects for data centres, Renewable Energy (RE), Clean Energy (CE) initiatives for energy-related facilities, and engineering projects primarily for data centres or other related facilities under Johor Corporation.

Kinergy Advancement Berhad to Provide Sustainable Solutions for Data Centres

Kinergy Advancement Berhad will leverage its expertise to provide energy efficiency solutions, with a particular focus in this collaboration on developing district cooling systems to greatly reduce data centres’ overall energy consumption and enhance their PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness).

Kinergy Advancement Berhad will demonstrate enhanced engineering capabilities and competence through the EPCC (“Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning”) development of data centres and/or other energy-related facilities. Additionally, KAB’s technical proficiency in RE and CE solutions will also extend to other initiatives within Johor Corporation.

The promotion of renewable energy export through Third-Party Access (TPA) Programmes or other renewable energy schemes will be further pursued to supply RE to Johor Corporation and its related business, supporting them in meeting and achieving their sustainability goals.
